Even in a cautious spending environment, Q4 showed encouraging momentum for retailers, withhigher holiday traffic translating into increased order volume and steady demand. Excluding automotive, U.S. retail sales rose 4.1% year over year on Black Friday, led by strong e-commerce momentum, with online sales up 10.4% year over year.
